August 14, 2008 — New feeds

We have just added a set of new feeds to AM. The always interesting FFFFOUND! and the brand new Eye blog, as well as the Guardian Art & design section and grain edit. A great addition indeed.

Dazed and Confused also just relaunched their website and we will add their new feed as soon as it’s been set up. Hopefully it won’t be long!

April 26, 2007 — Welcome again, this time for real!

Thank you very much to all the feed authors for your enthusiastic and positive comments on Artsmonitor! We are now officially live!

We very much appreciate all the constructive comments, links, suggestions and words of encouragement. Also many thanks to everyone else who helped along the way, especially Chris, Wilf, Adrian and Kate and of course many thanks to the technical expertise provided by Simple Pie and 11 Feeds. Time now to push the boat out!

As always, if you have anything to say at all, please get in touch.

Thanks so much, everyone!

April 19, 2007 — New blog feed: TED

If you can’t afford $6.000 to attend the yearly TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference, this is the just relaunched site to view over 100 of its best talks and presentations.

March 27, 2007 — New blog feed: Telstar Logistics

Telstar Logistics is a brilliantly irreverent blog run by Todd Lappin, former editor at Business 2.0 and Wired. A self-confessed nerdy look at anything that moves on land, air, sea and in space.

This one is definitely worth keeping an eye on, so we added it to our product design section.

March 19, 2007 — Welcome to Artsmonitor!

As you might have gathered, Artsmonitor is an RSS news feed aggregator for the art and design communities. Our aim is to present you with an easy way to keep on top of what’s new in the industry, selected from the very best of blogs, news, reviews and in-depth commentaries.

We have today opened Artsmonitor for its first week of limited public beta testing. Even though the site is fully functional, there are bound to be some rough edges in this inital stage, so if you trip over one of them, have suggestions for improvements, features or sites you think should be here, please let us know. We’ll do our best to make it happen.

We hope you’ll enjoy Artsmonitor and come back soon!
