Super-Kamiokande
Thanks to a post on the excellent Pruned, I’ve come across some amazing images of the Super-Kamiokande (a detector for cosmic particles 1,000 metres below ground in a disused mine) at Kamioka Observatory, ICRR (Institute for Cosmic Ray Research), at the University of Tokyo. Truly incredible.
