I’ve just come across these gorgeous type designs (through the manystuff feed - thanks Charlotte!) by London/Copenhagen based Byggstudio. Despite a distinct retro feel, they manage to avoid tired clichés and convince through their well-crafted simplicity.
There is quite a lot more interesting work on their website.
